Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for purchases made on flintideas.app. Payments are handled by our authorised payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase; approved refunds are returned by that provider to your original payment method.
Digital delivery
Flint is a fully digital service. When you buy credits, they are added to your account immediately. Nothing is shipped, posted, or couriered, so no delivery or shipping charges apply.
How credits work
Credits are prepaid. Each generative action in Flint — a strike, a read, a sharpen, and so on — consumes credits in proportion to the work it performs. Your remaining balance is always shown in the app.
When you're entitled to a refund
- Unused credits. If you change your mind, you may request a refund of your unused credit balance within 14 days of the purchase that added those credits. We refund the unspent portion to your original payment method.
- Failed or duplicate charges. If you were charged more than once for the same purchase, or charged for a purchase that did not complete, we refund it in full.
- Charged but not delivered. If a generative action was charged but produced no output because of a fault on our side, we re-credit or refund those credits.
When a refund does not apply
- Credits already spent. Once credits have been consumed on a generative action, the service has been delivered — the computation was performed — so spent credits are not refundable.
- Requests made after 14 days for unused credits, except where a longer period is required by law.
- Dissatisfaction with the content of an idea or a verdict. Flint grades ideas honestly, including telling you when an idea is unremarkable; a verdict you didn't hope for is the service working as intended, not a fault.
Cancellation
Flint does not bill on a recurring subscription — you buy credits as you need them, so there is nothing to cancel to stop future charges. You may close your account at any time by emailing us, and you may request a refund of any unused credit balance under the terms above.
How to request a refund
Email us at support@flintideas.app from the address on your account, quoting the order or receipt reference. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days by our payment provider; how long the amount then takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
