• Content you enter — the resources, pains, and ideas you type into the engine, and the readings it generates for you.
• Usage data — how you interact with the service, credit balance and consumption, and technical logs such as IP address, device, and browser, used for security and to keep the service running.
• Payment data — payments are processed by our authorised payment provider (our merchant of record). We do not collect or store your full card details; we receive only confirmation of a transaction and limited billing information.

How we use it

• to provide, operate, and improve Flint and to generate your readings;
• to process purchases and refunds through our payment provider;
• to secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal and accounting obligations;
• to respond to your support requests, and to send you essential service messages.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run Flint, and only as needed:

• AI processing. The content you enter is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate and grade your readings. It is processed to produce your output.
• Payments. Our merchant of record processes your purchases and holds the associated billing data under its own privacy terms.
• Infrastructure. Hosting and storage providers that run the service on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law.

Where your data is processed

Flint's providers may process data on servers located outside India. Where that happens, we rely on the appropriate safeguards for such transfers. Payment data handling follows the rules that apply to our payment provider.

How long we keep it

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and security obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to close your account. To do so, email us at the address below. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address issues promptly.

Children

Flint is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
